Nether Hall School is a very effective, well-resourced special school for pupils aged 4-19 years who have severe & profound learning difficulties.
The school is seeking to appoint a Level 3 Teaching Assistant working 32½ hours per week for 39 weeks (school term time + 5 training days).
Salary: LG Band 5, Points 11 – 14, £22,571 - £24,920 pro-rata.
Actual starting salary, point 11:
Less than 5 yrs service with the Local Authority £17,029 (85.89% FTE);
More than 5 yrs service £17,412 (87.8% FTE); (Plus SEN allowance of £1177)
The successful candidate will have a relevant Level 3 childcare qualification and GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths as detailed in the job specification.
Previous experience of working as a Teaching Assistant is desirable.
