Teaching Assistant – Behaviour Support
Permanent 5 days a week term-time only
Required to start as soon as possible
Grade F (pt. 9) (£11.02p/h) (£21,269 pro rata p/a)
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, inspirational, highly motivated, resourceful and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant, supporting behaviour, to join our lovely school. Having experience of working with pupils with severe and complex autism, learning difficulties and associated challenging behaviour is essential. You will need to be approachable, patient and able to build positive relationships with pupils across the school.
Applicants should;
- Have a willingness to undertake training in medical procedures
- Be enthusiastic, organised and flexible
- An NVQ2 (or equivalent) is preferable but not essential
- Have Team Teach experience (or equivalent) or be willing to be trained
The successful candidate will be working within a skilled and caring team. They will be expected to provide support to individual students, small groups or work in whole class settings.
