We are looking to recruit a highly motivated individual who has the drive, energy and enthusiasm to contribute to the teaching in our School of Personalised Learning, they will also possess a great sense of humour and the ability to think on their feet whilst not being easily flustered!
The School of Personalised Learning provides specialist education and support for over 200 young people, aged 16-25, who have moderate/severe complex learning difficulties and disabilities. Disabilities include physical and medical, communication and language as well as social, emotional and mental health.
We currently have a particular need for a teacher with an understanding of EHCPs and the processes that surrounds them and also experience of planning, preparing and delivering learning materials to students with multiple and complex SEND and/or SEMH needs.
Our expectations of our students are high. The ideal candidate will possess the skills to inspire and motivate our students to achieve in all areas, in addition to this they will also support students in developing their self-advocacy skills.
The successful candidate will be placed on the Teachers Pay Spine Scale (£27,116.99 - £44,256.79 FTE) dependent on qualifications and experience.
A satisfactory DBS check is required before the commencement of this position.
