Salary: Sixth Form College Pay Spine Point 1-9 dependent on experience
We have a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic T Level Health and Health & Social Care L2 teacher to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the effective delivery of a high-quality curriculum and ensuring students are inspired, well-supported, and industry-ready.
Applications are welcomed from experienced and energetic teachers of Health and Social Care with current sector knowledge, and is also suitable for Early Career Teachers with previous industry experience for shaping the next generation of health care professionals. Strong and current subject knowledge, particularly within the health and care professions sector, is essential. Full and part-time positions are available, with the flexibility to teach across Health & Social Care and Education and Early Years curriculum if wanted and appropriate.
You will have excellent interpersonal and classroom management skills and be committed to providing outstanding learning experiences. You’ll be a team player who thrives on collaboration, brings positivity to the role, and is always willing to go the extra mile for students and colleagues alike.
Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering engaging and well-structured lessons across the core content of the T-Level Health Qualification and L2/L3 BTEC Health & Social Care , including:
The healthcare and social care sector
Health, safety and environmental regulations
Managing information and data
Person-centred care
Infection prevention and control
Safeguarding
Core scientific and clinical concepts
Designing and marking formative and summative assessments
Supporting individual student progress through academic and personal guidance
Preparing students for successful industry placements by developing their workplace readiness
Contributing to curriculum development in line with industry standards and best practice
Ensuring all work meets internal and external quality assurance and compliance standards
All successful candidates will be required to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure.
