Malmesbury School requires a dynamic, enthusiastic and well qualified teacher of Computer Science to join the Mathematics and Computing faculty. This post would be suitable for a highly competent teacher with experience and a proven track record of success, or an ECT new to the profession, there is an opportunity for the right candidate of a TLR2a for taking responsibility for KS3 Computing. The Mathematics and Computing faculty is a team of talented, supportive and innovative teachers whose passion and enthusiasm has helped secure a history of successful examination outcomes. The school occupies a modern building with a suite of classrooms built around a faculty office. All classrooms have interactive whiteboards and the faculty also has four dedicated computer rooms with PCs and is well supported by our IT Technicians. Computing and Creative iMedia (Cambridge National) are offered at Key Stage 4 with very popular uptake; there are currently two classes for each subject in Year 10 and one of each in Year 11. At A Level Computing is offered with classes in Year 12 and 13.
