Casual basis

Tutor: £27.43 per hour + holiday pay

Assessor: £18.11 per hour + holiday pay

Lighthouse Learning Trust is always seeking passionate and skilled Adult Tutors, Assessors and Internal Quality Assurers (IQAs) to join our growing Adult Education team on a flexible, part-time basis.

We are looking for:

Adult Tutors

• Deliver engaging and inclusive learning programmes

• Motivate and support learners to achieve their qualifications and ambitions

• Create positive learning experiences that inspire confidence and progress

Assessors

• Assess learners in the workplace and training environments

• Provide high-quality developmental feedback

• Support learners to achieve excellent outcomes

Internal Quality Assurers (IQAs)

• Maintain and improve the quality of assessment practice

• Support assessor development and standardisation

• Ensure compliance with awarding organisation requirements

Essential Requirements

• Relevant occupational competency

• Teaching qualification (for tutor roles) 

• Assessor and/or IQA qualification (where applicable)

• Experience working with adult learners

• Commitment to excellence in education and training
