This is a non-teaching role but having teaching experience may be an advantage as delivery of PSHE sessions is a part of the role.

Reporting to our Student Services Manager, the college is seeking a Progress Support Tutor to form part of our Student services Team.

The college is looking for individuals who are committed to holistic approaches to support students' academic and personal development.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for delivery of PSHE tutorial activities to groups of student and will undertake focused work to support and monitor the attendance of approximately 200 16-19 year old learners. As Tutor, this role will also implement behaviour and engagement programmes to support the academic progress of learners accessing support services.

The college is looking for a candidate that has excellent interpersonal and communication skills that can work under pressure, be a team member but is also confident working independently with our students, staff and parents.

This is a challenging position but one that is highly rewarding for the right candidate.

The post will commence in January/February 2023.

All successful candidates will be required to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure.
