Approximately 11 hours per week, term time only (37 weeks per annum)

Monday to Thursday
Hours - Morning: 07:15 to 09:15/ Afternoons 15:20 to 17:00 ( hours are variable due to bus routes )
We have exciting opportunities available for enthused Passenger Assistants to join our team here at St Vincent College.
Passenger assistants play a key role in enabling children and young people with special educational needs travel to and from school and college in a safe environment. We have our own minibuses to be able to support our young people in accessing college. The college provides specialist education and support for 200+ young people aged 16-25 with moderate and complex learning difficulties and disabilities with some, requiring access to transport.
No formal qualifications are needed, just a natural rapport with young adults, alongside an awareness and understanding of special educational needs.
The post holder will report to the Estates Team Leader.
As a member of this team you will play an active part in the delivery of a responsive and successful customer service provision in accordance with the College Mission, Visions and Values.
An understanding of working with high-needs students and first aid training are essential.
This position is permanent and available from September 2024 subject to a disclosure and barring service (DBS) check and reference checks
