Teacher of Level 1
(16 teaching hours per week)
This is a permanent contract due to start in September
Salary: Sixth Form College Pay Spine Point 1-9 dependent on experience
We have a great opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Teacher of Level 1 to join our team. The successful candidate will be expected to develop and manage effective delivery of an outstanding Level 1 curriculum, to ensure all our students make excellent progress in their vocational courses.
Key areas covered are IT, basic Maths and English, and confidence building and resilience. Students progress on to a range of courses therefore broad skills development is needed.
Applications are invited from experienced and energetic teachers within the secondary school or post-16 college sector as well as Early Career Teachers, with a wide and up to date subject knowledge.
You will have outstanding interpersonal and classroom management skills and be relentless in your commitment to the success of all those that you teach and will be a team player who thrives on working collaboratively with colleagues and is happy to go the extra mile.
All successful candidates will be required to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure.
