We are looking for talented, highly motivated and dedicated individuals to join BCA as Learning Support Assistants in our Additional Learning Support Department. There are fantastic full-time and part-time roles available, all of which are term-time only. The salary will be a pro rata of £18,579 to £19,367 per annum for term time working depending on the number of hours worked.
The Role
This is a great opportunity to offer in-class and, in some instances, out of class support to learners with a range of learning needs. Working alongside specialist tutors and vocational lecturing staff, you will provide an outstanding learning experience for our students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities.
What We’re Looking For
You will have knowledge and awareness of a variety of approaches to supporting learners. Experience of similar work with post-16 learners and/or supporting students with GCSE Maths & English would be useful. You will have a can-do attitude, a positive outlook, be flexible in your approach to working with different students and staff, be willing to give new challenges a go and seek personal development.
