About the role:
We are looking for a Head of Student Recruitment and Admissions to oversee the applicant experience, from initial touchpoint with the college through to enrolment. Working with the Marketing and MIS teams, the ideal candidate will be passionate about offering outstanding customer service and experienced in further education admissions, enrolment and IAG (information, advice and guidance).
An experienced, caring and empathetic manager, you will lead the Student Recruitment and Admissions team, overseeing the handling and resolving of queries from potential students across a multitude of platforms, ensuring they are equipped to make an informed decision about studying at college. You will also lead on enrolment (both in-year and during the main summer enrolment period), compliance and have a solid understanding of further education funding regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in UK FE, supervising and delivering a wide range of administrative tasks and leading a team of staff, managing a high workload, meeting multiple deadlines, and working effectively under pressure.
You will be supported by the Director of Marketing and Student Recruitment, ensuring a joined-up approach in reaching potential students to ensure they have a sublime customer experience. The department is busy and buzzing, and this role is essential in helping to ensure the college meets its recruitment targets.
