About the role:
If you are looking for an exciting role then look no further as you will get work with the next generation of chefs in state-of-the-art kitchens and be able to observe and support the budding student chefs as they produce delightful dishes.

As the General Assistant within catering, you will be ensuring that that kitchen is adhering to the food safety regulations, health and safety regulations and that they are fit and ready for practical lessons. You will be a good communicator as you liaise with Hospitality & Catering lecturers, students, as well as customer who will be purchasing from the takeaway service.

The role requires someone who has some kitchen experience to be able to prepare ingredients trays for practical lessons, this will allow you to develop your knowledge of ingredients and commodities, both basic and exotic ingredients.

You will get to meet industry chefs and sometime famous chefs as part of the Hospitality & Catering Department being part of The Chef’s Forum Academy.
