E-Learning Coordinator – Digital Learning
Full-time, permanent (37hrs per week)
£24,901- £27,160 (SP22-25), per annum, dependent on experience
Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based college based across the North of England with centres in York, Middlesbrough, Saltaire, Wakefield and Newcastle.
The Learning resources and digital team have an exciting opportunity for an e-learning co-ordinator to join our team here at the York campus. This role will be working 37 hours per week at the Yok campus. Exceptional part time candidates may be considered.
We are seeking an enthusiastic digital innovator to join our e-learning and digital skills academy team. Working with the senior e-learning co-ordinator you will support our digital strategy and ensure digital learning across the college is well embedded into each corner of our curriculum. You will be a creative problem solver who can match technology to specific use cases. Understanding what can be achieved and the potential benefits to learning. You will have the opportunity to ensure our learning systems are administered and supported to drive performance in the quality of education.
There are system administration duties, training and development, learning new technologies and rolling them out to curriculum teams. Working at the cutting edge with drone technology, AR and VR technologies along with supporting MS teams, Microsoft applications in education and our bespoke platforms like nearpod, planet estream among other free learning platforms.
Throughout all the functions of your role you will ensure that any technology we use is GDPR compliant and meets the accessibility guidelines required.
You will have the opportunity to work on new funded projects and with people across the whole organisation, having a positive impact on the way we use technology and digital systems to achieve the best possible outcomes.
