Construction Teacher (Specialism in Carpentry) Foundation Learning
0.2 FTE (Permanent) from January 2024
Salary: Sixth Form College Pay Spine Point 1-9 dependent on experience
We are seeking to appoint an experienced, highly motivated and inspirational teacher to join our specialist team of construction professionals. The role will include teaching students within the Construction department of our Foundation Learning provision.
The successful post holder will have the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the development of our expanding Construction provision. This aspect of our curriculum is pivotal to meeting the aspirations and educational needs for a range of students, including those who present with challenging behaviour and/or SEMH.
We offer an innovative curriculum and are committed to working in partnership with students, families and professionals to create positive futures. Candidates should be appropriately qualified and have prior experience of teaching students who present with challenging behaviour and/or SEMH in a highly energised and vibrant department.
The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
