Salary: A Grade

Location: SWINDON

Contract Type: Term Time Only / 29.5 hours per week / 44.6 weeks per year

Contract: Permanent, Full time -although part time full days will be considered

Uplands is a high performing secondary school for students, aged 11- 19, with severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties and autistic spectrum disorders. We are a vibrant and caring community co-located within a learning campus. We offer the opportunity to join a supportive team which actively encourages and supports our employees to gain the skills and qualifications that will support their future employability and meet the needs of our organisation.

We require an enthusiastic individual to work with the class teacher providing support and assistance in the development, education and care of students in Uplands School.

The ideal candidate will display a willingness to help students with a range of care, have excellent communication skills, be highly motivated and be able to work confidently as part of a team.
