About the role

Salford City College requires an electrician to train and qualify as a Teacher in Electrical Installation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified electrician to teach their trade to the next generation with a full programme of support available to launch your career in this rewarding role.

You will be joining a team of people committed to supporting learners to achieve outstanding outcomes in a fast-growing sector. The successful candidate will bring their industry knowledge and experience to inspire and train our learners equipping them with the latest skills and techniques.

Qualified and Unqualified Teachers both welcome – come and work with us and we will support and fund you through a recognised teaching qualification!

Candidates should hold a level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation and have experience working in a related role. Teaching experience is not essential but this role would be ideal for an Electrician who has experience in mentoring and training staff and/or students, or has a keen interest in this and wants to develop it further. You will be supported to ensure you obtain all the skills required to become a teacher.
