Marlwood School is excited to be recruiting for a Data Officer to manage all aspects of our MIS system (SIMS) and other related data systems such as FFT and SmartGrade. We are looking for a professional, collaborative and self-starting individual who has experience with MIS systems. The role includes responsibility for the monitoring and collating of a range of school data; ensuring the data is accurate; and reporting data both internally and externally. Admissions, timetable changes and census collation are also all key parts of the role .

This is a term time only role (including INSET days), with a requirement to work the Exam Results days during the school holidays.

About the role

Hours: 17.5 hours per week. Contract is term time only, plus 5 INSET days plus 2 days in August for exam results days.

Salary: £24,496 FTE, £10,023 prorated

About you

You have data management experience as well as being personable, with exceptional communication skills. Multi-tasking will be easy for you and you will have excellent organisational skills. It is essential that you have demonstrable ICT skills including Microsoft Excel skills and preferably have a degree of confidence when it comes to using basic formulas to manipulate data. Experience of using SIMS is highly desirable.

Please note that we will require someone to be able to hit the ground running so you will need sufficient experience in order to apply.
